Biffa Waste Transfer Station, Tipton

The project consisted of reinforced concrete foundations on vibro compacted ground treatment with a semi-basement vehicle access together with reinforced concrete push walls. The superstructure for the two storey offices and adjoining vehicle maintenance bay were constructed in structural steelwork. The site was remediated due to past contamination followed by cut and fill earthworks operation.
